TDOR 2017

Last years transgender day of remembrance was a tough thing for me. At USM people put ribbons on a fence that was a fence around the community with the names of transgender folk who had had their lives cut short over the years. There was an event in Portland where different people took turns reading off the names of the same people were read aloud by volunteers. His death being so recent, Maze was not on either list. I made my own ribbon and left it on the fence at school a day later. This year I had not even remembered TDOR was happening, I've just been thinking about how his birthday will be soon.

If you feel like you may hurt yourself and you need someone to talk to, please call one of these numbers. There will always be someone who cares.
